Mervinism

The history of the world is filled with great politicians who governed nations using various political ideologies. Our own Mervin Silva has his own. For those of us who aren't intellectually par with him, Mervin has summarized his version of "Das Kapital" as follows: pay off the supporters and beat up the opponents - a strategy Mervin says is simple yet enormously effective.

About a 100 of Mervin Silva's battalion of thugs was seen hammering a group of people participating in a peace rally in Nugegoda yesterday. Mervin Silva was heard yelling "gahapiya, gahapiya" commanding his goons to beat up the crowd which included journalists. A minister of the Mahinda administration, Mervin Silva, obviously later denied any involvement.
