Janaka Perera summoned by CID
UNP Leader, Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe has stated that Maj. Gen (rtd) Janaka Perera has been summonded by the CID to be questioned against an alleged plot to assasinate the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksha.

During the recently concluded PC polls Janaka uttered many things against the GoSL and the ongoing battles. He never appreciated the service of the Present Army Commander which means he undermines President's pragmatics move to crush terrorism. Hence, there might be a possibility of justifiable allegations against him by considering his political motives!
Janaka is a good man, but by going in to politics and having an agenda against the Army Commander, does not give him any credibility.
He should not combine politics with military!
I have personally met this guy. He is a good person, but looks like due to politics, he is undermining his own credibility. Ranil, you have destroyed your life, and many others including the country by being the most losing politician in the country, and now u drag a well respected individual to your mess?
