LTTE instigated hartal a flop
The hartal organized by the LTTE to protest the de-merger of the North and the East has so far being a complete failure. Only a few shops remained closed while most people went on business as usual. Threats by LTTE elements to force public to cooperate has bee reported in some areas. The security forces in the area are reported to be in heightened state of alert to counter any form of violence that may be instigated by the Tigers.

As far as i know most of the shops in trinco etc were closed yesterday.

Why do people even try to close shots in the norht and east? Is it at their will? No, never. Its because of the intimidation done by the Terrorist group who calls themselves the LTTE.
No one willingly will close the shots. If that's teh case, shops etc should close alover the country.
THese are a bunch of terrorist who wish to control everything and anything and cause misery to the general public and destroy the Tamil and Sinhala race in this country.
LTTE are criminals. Of-course best known as terrorist.
LTTE, let the people live their lives, without trying to kill them for everything they do and not obey your rules. These are humans who try to make a living.
LTTE forces people to close shops, not that the people are willing to do so.
Of-course if they dont close, either a member of their family would be killed by the LTTE or they will have to hand over their children to fight the war of Prabakaran, who is the biggest ruthless terrorist along side of Bin Laden! Only diff. Prabakaran has no fame as Bin Laden.
I guess one can compare Praba with Bin. They are both the same in a few ways.
1) Both terrorist
2) Both doesnt represent their communities
3) Both, kill innocent people
4) Both have evil missions and visions

hmmmmmmmmmm North is back to normal. The only thing people hope for is something to come out of the peace talks.
