SVAB President Gives Away Gift Parcels

MRS. ANOMA FONSEKA, President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB), in another humanitarian gesture visited the inmates of tri-services at the Colombo National Hospital and Military Hospital on 06th August 2006.

She spoke to soldiers, sailors, airmen and Police Constables injured in the recent spate of LTTE violence and shared a couple of thoughts with them while wishing them speedy recovery.

SVAB President also gave a gift packet to those inmates during the visit. Meanwhile, the wife of an Army Lance Corporal Mrs. J.M.T.B. Jayasundara who was severely injured in a traffic accident was donated a wheel chair recently by the President of Seva Vanitha Army Branch Mrs. Anoma Fonseka
