Not every Tamil criminal is linked to the LTTE

There was time when even the dead dog on the road side was said to be the victim of then president Premadasa. Similarly, every Tamil caught up in a scandal these days is automatically linked to the LTTE. The 8 or so Tamil Canadians arrested this week in the US under suspicion of trying to purchase missiles for the Tigers could have been acting on their own. It is also possible these people are linked to other military or even terrorist groups and are essentially involved purely for the money.
