Business community urged to put pressure on LTTE

COLOMBO: Peace Secretariat Secretary General Dr. Palitha Kohona urged the country's business community to put pressure on the LTTE to denounce violence and to return to the negotiating table.

Dr. Kohona also said the private sector's efforts towards that end has not been demonstrated enough at a time the LTTE has increased its violence.
