Government to enlist private sector in infrastructure development

INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT: The Government is seeking increased participation of the private sector to develop infrastructure in conflict affected areas and other regions of the country.

Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Minister Rohitha Bogollagama last week urged business leaders to play a proactive role in improving vital infrastructure such as roads, telecommunication, power and utilities and setting up industries in rural areas.
