Sri Lanka Ceasefire shouldn’t be opportunity for LTTE to regroup Says The Washington Times editorial

Washington, D.C. 21 August (Asiantribune.com): The Washington Times, the second largest newspaper in America’s capital Washington, D.C., in its editorial on its August 20 Sunday edition advocated that “to make a meaningful progress toward a permanent resolution of the (Sri Lanka) crisis, cease-fire cannot function merely as opportunity for the Tigers to regroup."

The editorial continued to say that "in short, the Tigers’ ability to rearm themselves need to be curtailed, and one way to do that is to stop the flow of money to Sri Lanka from Tiger sympathizers, particularly those in the West."
