Mass rally in Kalmunai against LTTE atrocities

KALMUNAI: The Muttur declaration and a mass rally was held by the Muslims of the Eastern Province against the eviction of Muslims from Muttur by the LTTE last Wednesday.

Responding to the call of All Mosque Federation of the Eastern Province, thousands of Muslims from the Ampara and Batticaloa Districts thronged the Kalmunai Grounds to participate in the declaration and special "Thuwa" for peace and harmony of the country.
