Troops March Forward & Capture Kaddaparichchan

TRINCOMALEE: KADDAPARICHCHAN THAT LIES to the South of TRINCOMALEE which has hitherto remained a stronghold for LTTE artillery and mortar gun positions was brought under complete control of the Army troops engaged in neutralizing the LTTE artillery and mortar locations in SAMPOOR this afternoon (31).

Ground troops after giving stiff resistance to volumes of terrorist fire finally managed to physically neutralize their fire power positions after completely forcing the terrorists to flee the area of KADDAPARICHCHAN vacating their positions.
