Infant baby succumbed to LTTE fire

Colombo, 17 August, (Asiantribune.com): An infant the son of an ex-LTTE cadre, fell victim to LTTE fire on Wednesday (16) at about 9.30 p.m. at Sittandi in Mavadivembu, located in the Eravur police area, Batticaloa district.
According reports, LTTE gunmen stormed the house of the ex-LTTE cadre, and opened fire indiscriminately at him, when he was with his wife and the one and half year old son, Nilushan (1 ½).
