Getting rid of LTTE terrorists should be our nations top priority
The LTTE yesterday permitted ICRC team less than one hour to visit areas in Pachchanoor to search for bodies of Muslims massacred when thousands of people of the Muslim community fled Muttur towards Kantale area.
ICRC Communication Officer Davide Vignate told the "Daily News" that their team which visited the area with the permission of the LTTE could find only two decomposed bodies.
"We were initially given one hour to visit the area but later the LTTE leaders ordered us to leave the area no sooner we went to that area. We had not even spent 30 minutes in the location, when we were ordered to go by the LTTE. During that very short time we were able to find two highly decomposed bodies lying in that location before we left", said David Vignate.
