Government did not breach the CFA- The President affirms the co chairs

President Mahainda Rajapakse highlighted to the representatives of the co-chairs of the Tokyo Donor conference that the Government did not initiated any military offensive against the LTTE, in breach of the ceasefire.

Speaking to the representatives called on him today (Monday the 21st of August) he reiterated that the military action taken by the government was only an inevitable response to the LTTE's military offensives.
