Don't betray the country' – Sri Lanka President urges JVP

Following the Marxist JVP’s decision to quit the Alliance government, Sri Lanka President Chandrika Kumaratunga in a letter to the JVP yesterday stressed that the party (JVP) should take the responsibility for the dangerous consequence the country might have to face as a result of their action.
