President reluctantly accept UNP and TNA support

President Chandrika Kumaratunga will establish the tsunami joint mechanism with the backing of two of the most vocal opponents, the United National Party (UNP) and the Tamil National Alliance (TNA). Both parties have extended support to establishment of Post Tsunami Operations Management Structure (PTOMS) with the Tamil Tiger rebels.
