Propaganda war hots up. Fasting monk whisked to hospital

Amidst protests the National Bhikku Front President, Venerable Dr. Dambara Amila, fasting in protest against the P-TOMS, was whisked away yesterday by Police in an ambulance to a hospital. His condition was deteriorating fast and doctors were concerned about possible kidney failure. Doctors found him suffering from acute dehydration. Doctors say that his condition is critical.
