Balapatabendi flies into a tsunami in Australia

May 4 (AsianTribune) Kusumsiri Balapatabendi flew out of Sri Lanka yesterday at the auspicious hour to take up his new post as High Commissioner in Australia today. But he is flying into the eye of a media storm over the handling of tsunami aid piling up in wharves without being cleared for the needy victims.
