Tremors in Colombo and suburbs, but no damage

March 31 (LankaPage) - Colombo: Several tremors were reported from Colombo and its suburbs this morning, but no damage has been reported. A spokesperson for the Pallekele Global Seismic Network (GSN) Station said they recorded a few tremors between 8.40 AM and 10.55 AM. He said they were unable to calculate the magnitude or origin of these tremors as the tremors were not recorded at the Cocos island station in Diego Garcia.
