Joint mechanism to be finalised

March 31 - (SCOPP) The proposed joint mechanism between the government and the LTTE for post-tsunami management in the North and East is to be finalised shortly, an informed diplomatic source said yesterday. "The differences are now being ironed out and the joint mechanism is expected to go into operation within two weeks", the source said.
