Sri Lankan President defends 100-meter buffer zone

March 30 (LankaPage.com) - Colombo: President Chandrika Kumaratunga last night justified her government's decision to introduce a 100-meter buffer zone along Sri Lanka's coastal belt, saying the people would now have realized that it is a wise decision in light of Monday's tsunami warning.
