Indian PM picks Lanka for first visit

Feb 25 (TT) Manmohan Singh has decided to start his first bilateral visit as Prime Minister with a trip to Colombo next month, in a clear signal to identify Sri Lanka as a "good neighbour". He will also visit the island nation of Mauritius, which is important to Delhi, following a postponement late last year.
