Chandrika thanks Manmohan for helping hand after tsunami

Feb 27 (Hindu) President, Chandrika Kumaratunga, today conveyed the "deep gratitude and appreciation" of her Government and people to the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, for the prompt and "most generous assistance" extended to Colombo by India in the aftermath of the December 26 tsunami devastation.
