LTTE seeks date with Charles

(timeofindia.com) COLOMBO: Britain's Prince Charles will come within a stone's throw of Tamil Tiger territory when he tours Sri Lanka's tsunami-ravaged east next week — and the rebels want him to pop in for a chat.

"We would like to receive him, there's no doubt about that. He's always welcome," S Puleedevan, secretary-general of the Tigers' peace secretariat and senior rebel negotiator, said on Friday.
