The current situation in the country, and the real people behind all the issues should be questions by looking at the motives.
Whats the motive right now. To discredit the government and to gain full control. Who are the persons who need this done?
1) UNP
2) LTTE
By considering the facts, nothing add up. Each time there is something with the international community, there are abductions or something in regards to human rights watch. Then the first persons to come out and attack the government is the GAY-PEDO UNP leader, Mr. Ranil and his mafia, followed by the LTTE.
Basically, the investigations should start wtih the UNP mafia and the people responsible could be found.
It is indeed sad that the country is been compromised for political gains. The downfall of this country is not because of the LTTE, its the UNP. After all, all the main issues in the country did happen during the UNP regime.

So technically, looking, the UNP has done more damage to this country than anyone else.

3) Media - Local media support the LTTE for reason mentioned in point 1, as they have some agenda and or connected with a political party. Foreign media support the LTTE for heavy dozes of Tamil propaganda and points mentioned plus connected with part 2.
The International community are basically politicians looking out for themselves to get votes to stay in power. Politicians are all the same wherever in the world they are. The only difference is that unlike in Sri Lanka these politicians have the best interest of their country at heart. Why else did Britain commit huge crimes against the people of colour throughout their history during the colonial period and the post colonial period, why hold onto double standards and pure racism? Simple: To make MONEY, increase their own wealth and success while at the same time laugh at us as inferior people, these criminals enjoy it, they get a kick out of it.

25,000 Sinhalese died in the 1970's JVP uprising.
In the civil war thus far lets say 25,000 Sinhalese have been killed.
That means since 1948, about 100,000 Sinhalese have been killed.
30,000 Tamils have been killed since 1983, a puny 30,000 over 30 years!
Sinhalese have suffered MORE than the lying criminal Tamil race.
Did our people run off to the West as economic refugees just to get a better quality of life during any of these incidents where thousands of our people have been killed? No.
