LTTE controlled Sampur falls into Army hands

According to SL Army reports the strategic eastern town of Sampur is now under Government control. TamilNet.com, the principal pro-LTTE website admitted that the president Rajapakse has hailed the capture of Sampur. The website focused on a report about 7 mutilated bodies found in Allaipiddy instead of reporting about the fall of Sampur. TamilNet.com is known to publish such stories to discredit the government when LTTE suffers heavy defeats - militarily or politically.
