LTTE claims their mission to sink 11 of their own boats completed successfully

Independent media has confirmed that the LTTE suffered heavy casualties in a 5 hour gun battle off the coast of Mulaitivu. TamilNet, the pro-LTTE propaganda website immediately reported the LTTE's sea Tigers have successfully completed it's mission against the SL Navy. So the mission of the sea Tigers then must have been to return to base after letting SL Navy sink 11 of its boats. 70 plus sea tigers are also believed to have died in the fighting. SL Navy suffered minimum damage and 5 sailors received minor injuries.

Well. This is what it is…
It was Financial damage they wanted to do and they did.
SL army had fired 100s of heavy artillery, one could cost around couple of thousand dollars.
Meanwhile LTTE had used 11 homemade boats (sponsored by Canda + 200Rs worth Petrol per a unit)
Plus 70 Disposable Tamil Children (40$ per a month street value in Canada).
Looking at the success of the mission.. Praba said ‘we should send more Tamil kids to get killed till - SL Government Bankrupt totally’ ..

hahah good one! But the down side is the Tigers are running around like chickens with their head cut off. There are massive dessertings and surrendering amidst the heavy defeats. LTTE is apparently having difficulty in keeping the organization afloat.
