LTTE continues with violence- An Aid Worker Killed at Thirukkovil
LTTE terrorist continued with their killing spree murdering another aid worker at Thiriukkovil in Ampara yesterday (Thursday the 24th of August).
Mr. P. Lesley who was working with the New Zealand funded INGO named United Office Project Firm was abducted by a group of LTTE terrorists near the Thirukkovil Muneimoor lagoon and assassinated at 10.30a.m on Thursday. The victim's motorbike which he had been traveling, before being abducted was also robbed by the terrorists.
Mr. Lesley was aged 29 years was a father of two children and a reputed social worker who had rendered a valuable service for the Tsunami victims in the area.
