Tiger attack on army patrol fails

Aug 9 (LankaNewspapers.com) The LTTE is continuing its attempts to provoke the forces. On Saturday (7) in Jaffna, one of a group of four soldiers on patrol duty was attacked with a pole by an LTTE cadre who was amongst a group which had been following the soldiers, an Army spokesman said.
