Tamil militants continue with the killing spree of Sri Lanka military intelligence officer

A senior military intelligence officer hailing from the eastern port city of Trincomalee was shot dead on Tuesday morning by suspected Tamil militants in the capital this morning. The Commanding Officer of the 1st Military Intelligence Corps of the Sri Lanka Army, Major T.Nizam.Muthalif was gunned down at Polhengoda, a Colombo suburb when he was traveling towards the Defence Academy in Ratmalana.
