Peace needed to achieve good economic performance in Sri Lanka, says Japanese Ambassador

Sri Lanka has vast opportunities to restore macroeconomic stability and achieve good economic performance, commensurate with its human and natural resources. This will only be possible if a lasting peace is achieved in accordance with the aspirations of all Sri Lankan people, said Akio Suda, the Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka.
