Solid foundation for peace has been laid - Sri Lanka President

President Chandrika Kumaratunga says a solid foundation has been laid for permanent peace by getting the LTTE to work with the Sri Lankan government through the proposed Joint Mechanism or Tsunami Relief Board - a very small administrative structure. No one should try to sabotage it if they are concerned with the peace and development of the country.
