Huge haul of contraband: Sri Lankan Tamil arrested

Ramesh, a 23 year-old Sri Lankan Tamil was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau sleuths, with 2.90 kg of heroin worth a street value of nearly Rs 1.5 million in his possession. Acting on a tip-off, NCB officials yesterday morning apprehended the youth from the Chennai Metropolitan Bus Terminal at Koyambedu.
