Australian group urges immediate suspension of Ceasefire Agreement in Sri Lanka

The Australian-based Society for Peace, Unity and Human Rights in Sri Lanka (SPUR) has urged President Chandrika Kumaratunga to immediately suspend the ongoing Ceasefire Agreement and to reinstate the ban on the LTTE, classifying them as a terrorist organisation until Presidential Commission hearings are complete.
