Tamils' fears about defence pact baseless: Saran

May 3 (Hindustan Times) India's Foreign Secretary, Shyam Saran, said on Tuesday, that the proposed India-Lanka Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA) would not be a threat to any community in Sri Lanka, and that the Tamils' apprehensions about it had no basis.
