Tigers apprehended with Rs. 2 billion!
May 2 (LankaTruth) Two members of Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO) were apprehended at about 3.30 p.m. yesterday by police at Uyyankulama check point at Mannar with Rs. 2 billion in their possession.
The two members of TRO apprehended are Sebamale Joyfrank and Fernando Sandyapillai, residents of Mattakandal area at Kakkankulam in Vavuniya. The vehicle they had been traveling was a Toyota Land Cruiser bearing Reg. No. WP-HM 0606 belonging to 'Jaika' an NGO says the police.
