Colombo, 11 May, (Asiantribune.com): Tamil minister representing the Northern Jaffna district has extended his support to the proposed tsunami joint mechanism with the Tamil militants as it would bring relief to the affected Tamil people. However he warned that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) could not be trusted and cautioned that every possible safeguard should be exercised.
