58 killed in bus-train collision in Sri Lanka

April 27 (Asian Tribune) A bus driver's rash act has caused the death of at least 58 bus passengers and serious injury to about 30 others in Sri Lanka. The bus driver, ignoring the red lights, tried to cross the rail crossing, but a speeding train rammed into the vehicle this morning Polgahawela, 80 kilometers inland from the capital Colombo.
