Stranded refugees rescued by Navy

April 27 (SL Army) Naval troops have rescued twenty one Sri Lankan refugees, stranded at KATCHCHATIVU area after they had been dropped by an Indian dhow on 26 April 2005 around 11.40 a.m. Preliminary investigations have revealed that each refugee had paid Indian Rs. 3000/= for their passage from India.
