JVP, UNP furious over prorogation
April 27 (LankaNewspapers) The crisis-ridden Western Provincial Council was plunged into virtual chaos yesterday when Governor Alavi Mowlana prorogued it for three weeks -- just quashing the no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Reginold Cooray.
