Sri Lanka to send second contingent of 800 soldiers to Haiti for U.N. peacekeeping

April 27 (AP) Sri Lanka will send 800 soldiers to Haiti as part of its continued commitment to the U.N. peacekeeping efforts there, a military spokesman said Wednesday. The contingent will replace the first one that is completing its six months term, said Brig. Daya Ratnayake.
