Anura says SLFP does not like to see Freedom Alliance break

Feb 16, Colombo: Tourism Minister Anura Bandaranaike who turned 56 today said that the United Peoples' Freedom Alliance would govern the country full term.

Speaking to media yesterday evening after paying a courtesy call on Mahanayake of the Malwatta Chapter, Minister Bandaranaike, while conceding that there are rifts and differences among the constituent parties of the Freedom Alliance, assured that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will do nothing to break the unity, although he could not give the same guarantee for other political parties working with the SLFP in the government.
