Palestine President Visits Sri Lanka

Palestine President Mohammed Abbas visited Sri Lanka for the 1st time on the invitation of HE The President of Sri Lanka. During his visit he expressed his deepest gratitude to the people of Sri Lanka for the moral support given right through for the struggle carried out by the Palestine people to protect their rights for several decades. He further went on to state that he was delighted to visit Sri Lanka at a time when President Mahinda Rajapaksa is the President of the country.
