Open statement on committing Genocide by the LTTE Terrorist - “Kill Sinhalese!” “Chop Sinhalese to pieces!”

Mr. S Sebanesan, a LTTE activist based in Australia, has boldly broadcast direct reports from Tiger cadres in the Wanni calling for the blood of the Sinhalese. The voice casts screamed: “We will kill the Sinhalese!” “We will chop the Sinhalese to pieces!” The following statement was aired on Melbourne, Australia based radio channel, 3CR (Community Radio).

Mr. Sebanesan is a public servant working in the Tax Department in Australia. Sri Lankan organizations in Australia has brought the matter up with relevant authorities by complaining that these broadcasts incite racial hatred as well as possible plans to commit "Genocide" which is not conducive for peaceful co-existence in a multi-cultural society like Australia. According to sources, SPUR has officially complained to authorities in Australia but no action or remedial steps to stop such broadcast have been taken by the authorities. Such racial and discriminative acts are against the code of ethics for broadcasters.

Hope necessary action will be taken against such broadcasters who openly make statements on committing Genocide against a race!
