Protest by students been stopped by Police

Police uses teargas and water cannons to disperse the University students who were trying to head towards the residence of the President of Sri Lanka. This was no doubt strategically organized by someone to discredit the government as well as the police. Many of the local media, which are biased towards the oppositions, have been broadcasting this live as well as giving update information on a regular basis with other agendas in mind. It’s a know fact that, nowhere in the world can one allow a protest comprising of over 4000 people can be allowed to strom in to a high security zone as well as towards the President of a country.

Public should be aware of such strategic moves brought in to tarnish or discredit governments/military etc.

This is what happens when we offer these kids FREE EDUCATION.

All they want is march and demand! Free education should not be allowed as this is the gratitude these punks show!

Good point where it states that nowhere in the world would any military/police/security allow protestors to march towards the President of the country.

This would have been orchestrated by the GoSL for sure. Police should treat students with more respect!
