Is the LTTE sincere in their latest request?
I wonder if the government will actually take this BS from the LTTE. It is a known factor that the LTTE just wants to regroup and organize for the so called final war once again. As right now, they have lost both politically and militarily. So they want to regain access and this is where things are more dangerous.
LTTE will try using all their power and money to get support of the international community. May be they will try to re-negotiate with the US state department, India, EU, Australia, Canada etc… Oh yet again, it is not that easy for them to do that, after what has happened in the past few months. Hope Mahinda will play the cards well and squeeze the Terrorist more…. If mahinda screws things up, then we are all "SCREWED"!!!!
Remember, if they do, they might want the military to lay their guard off and then attack. See what they did to Lakshman Kadiragam?
So we better watch our backs and be one step ahead. I mean 30 steps ahead!

They will never be sincere. All the LTTE wants is to destroy the Singhalese and Muslim community and rule the country.
How do they want to achive their goals: Destroy the economy and the country, and eventually, they will control the country.

This is not the best time in the history for any Terrorist organization.
LTTE be ‘sincere’ only to the firepower. There is no question about it.
But the big question is how about Tamil community. LTTE have not delivered anything other than misery to the Tamil community one total generation. Can they be ‘sincere’ to them now? Can they take this opportunity to deliver something better for the community – other than solder job for 14 year olds?
