Lets talk, we cant take it anymore....

LTTE political head and the peace sec head has just informed the government that they are willing to step in to the peace negotiating table once again.

This is once again good news to the Sri Lankan community and public. However, i hope the government will keep its stance and ensure that this is YET not another LTTE tactics to re-group and launch fresh attacks on the military and the civilian population.

Its high time the LTTE came out, as their necks are too tight at this given time. If they push any longer, they might just go too deep.

Government, international community and the local community, unite and ensure, the LTTE means business this time and not other hidden agenda!

Not much different from previous times they came out to talk. Every time, they walk out of the table, being more stronger and replenished! Sitting on negotiation table is like having a can of "Red Bull" for LTTE. (May be "Wild Elephant". How about brandinga an energy booster drink "Talking Tiger" ??)

yeah, as they get weaker, they always come to the table. the government should not allow them to do this. This is their tool to get the wild elephant energy( on another note, Wild Elephant is much better than Red B. - Also promote Sri Lankan products :-) ).

So, i think, we should not take any crap from the Terrorist, the LTTE.

I think the government knows better now. They will replenish too. Probably with a stock of cluster bombs and bunker busters. I would be peeing in my pants if I was Prabha.

I think prabah, is already peeing, that's why he wants to talk now. talk = regroup and get ready.

dont buy it government, he just wants to re-group.

I don’t think government has cluster bombs. Only few countries in the world use that and we should not be one of them.

But bunker busters.. Well.. I think we really really need that. Not to drop it.. Just to send some postcards to some people. So they can start talking honestly. May Goverment send that postcard already.. who knows..

I like the new Sl government attitude. Basically what they are saying is you try something you will have to face the wrath of the army. I don't think an event like the assassination of Kadhiragarmar will ever happen again without a major response by the government.

This latest move is yet another attempt by the LTTE to buy time to regroup, rearm or at least to stop the Army advance.

Its rubbish and should be treated as such.

Any further talks must take place on a precondition that the LTTE completely disarms itself militarily and comes to the table to find a peaceful solution. There can be no option to stop peace talks halfway and start fighting again. Without an agreement to disarm, there should be no peace talks with the LTTE and current offensive should continue to capture Elephant Pass and Killinochi.

Agree,
the ltte should lay down arms and also give the list of all terrorist living overseas and in sl.

This will ensure that there is a proper solution to the problem.
