LTTE Artillery Fire Killed Civilian & Injured Two

TRINCOMALEE : AN ARTILLERY FIRED BY LTTE TERRORISTS from the un-cleared areas of SAMPOOR fell on an lorry parked at the Prima Flour Mill in TRINCOMALEE and killed a civilian Saturday (12) during wee hours.

The death civilian identified as H.K Ranjith Hetti Kankana (28) had been fast a sleep inside the lorry with two others when the Artillery round fired by the LTTE pierced the roof of the vehicle and exploded.

The others two persons sustained critical injuries and were admitted to the TRINCOMALEE hospital.
