Eight civilians injured in a hand grenade attack by the LTTE- Valachchenai

The LTTE terrorists lobbed a hand grenade at the weekly trade fair at Ottamawadi in Valachchenai today (Tuesday the 15th of August).

The incident took place this morning (9.30a.m.) when the location fully crowded with the civilians coming for the trade fair.

Eight civilians and a police constable suffered injuries in the explosion. The injured were immediately rushed to the General Hospital Batticaloa.
