Another hair-raising development

If there were those - excluding the fellow Australians - who believed Darrell Hair is not a cheat, he has provided more evidence of malpractice and unethical conduct to convince them. In a letter to the ICC, Hair has demanded $500,000 to step down from his job as a top official of the ICC. Disregarding the accusations that he is a racist and has a thing against the Asian teams, he has now clearly demonstrated that he does not have the integrity or the honesty to play the role of a neutral umpire. If Pakistan is to be investigated for ball tampering without any clear evidence, there is no doubt Hair should be too. And since there is enough evidence in the form of the email addressed to the chief of ICC Malcolm Speed that resembles a ransom note, ICC has an obligation to investigate Hair - unless of course ICC is equally biased when it comes to Asian people.
