SLFP members seek Marxist support in Sri Lanka

Aug 8 (Colombopage) Senior SLFP members have pressured the party leadership for taking JVP on board again, a reliable source told ColomboPage. The SLFP group led by the Prime Ministerial candidate Minister Anura Bandaranaike argued that all forces should unite under one banner against the UNP. It is learnt that this group plans to discuss their desire with the JVP this week, a source added.
